Stadium
The stadium is the heart of the Taupo Event Centre and successfully hosts a variety of events - local, national and international sports tournaments, concerts, expo's, festivals and banquet dinners.

A 2000m2 of Indoor Sports/Events Floor (which can be carpeted for non sport related events) on which there are a number of marked playing courts including:

3 full sized basketball courts, or one large centre court

2 x indoor soccer areas
The stadium floor is made from maple timber laid on top of a rubber padding with a concrete base.
Four large separate Changing Rooms capable of each holding a team of 15 (double as dressing rooms and toilets)
Retractable Bleacher seating capable of 432 people seating each side of the stadium
Mezzanine Floor Viewing capable of seating 156 people on each side (north and south) of the stadium. The east mezzanine* provides an extra viewing/display deck with room for a further 40 seats. ( *ideal as an separate viewing platform for TV/radio/media)
A big (15.9m long x 8.9 m wide) versatile Function Room capable of seating 129 people around tables, complete with adjoining small kitchen.
A good sized (10m long x 5.8m wide) Clubrooms capable of seating a 72 people around tables, complete with adjoining kitchen and toilets (also can double as backstage concert dressing room and toilets).
