Swim School
The AC Baths Swim Academy have swimming programs to suit everyone. Swimming NZ certified instructors teach the ideal balance of swimming skills and water confidence in a safe and friendly environment. Class sizes are small to ensure your child receives quality tuition. "Learn to Swim it's a Lesson for Life". Knowing how to swim is an important life skill everyone should have the opportunity to learn.
Our Aim - To provide a professional centre for excellence in swim education and water safety.
Sessions and classes are conducted on the primary school term basis. Enrolments must be made at the Swim School Office prior to the commencement of term and bookings during the term are subject to availability. We operate a roll over system at the end of each term - bookings are automatically carried over to the following term.
Payments for the swim school are made by direct debit with an initial pro rata payment when signing up. Lessons are paid for one month in advance otherwise entry to lesson will be refused. Pool entry is not included in the swim lesson fee however this will not be charged if attending a swim lesson. Upon payment each child will be issued a swipe card that will allow entry through the reception barrier - this must be used for each lesson. If you do not want to pay by direct debit, you may pay for the full term up front before the first week starts by way of family credits. See reception for details.
If you do not want to be charged for a swim lesson not attended then you must phone in absences to the Swim School office before lesson start time otherwise the charge will apply.
Value Added Service - Free use of leisure pool before and after lessons.
Ribbon Awards Poster - Don't forget to pick up your ribbon award poster from the swim school office. It is the perfect way to show your child's achievements. Children are given ribbons at the end of each term and for those special achievements throughout the term.

Term 1 2012 7 February to 5 April (9 weeks)
Term 2 2012 23 April to 30 June (10 weeks)
Term 3 2012 16 July to 29 September (11 weeks)
Term 4 2012 15 October to 22 December (10 weeks)
THERE ARE NO LESSONS ON PUBLIC HOLIDAYS. LESSONS MISSED DUE TO PUBLIC HOLIDAYS WILL NOT BE CHARGED.
Refunds - we do not give refunds but offer two catch-up lessons per child per term if notified of absence prior to the lesson time.
Free Assessments
If you don't know what level your child is, we can give you a complimentary swim assessment.
